Urgent: UAE bans travel to Iran, Lebanon and Iraq, urges citizens to return immediately given "current developments"

ABU DHABI, April 30 (Xinhua) -- The foreign ministry of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) issued a statement on Thursday evening banning travel to Iran, Lebanon and Iraq.

In the statement posted on social media platform X, the ministry also called on citizens of the UAE present in those countries to "return as soon as possible," citing "current developments."
