Israel has launched ground operations in southern Lebanon, while one person was killed after a missile hit a car in Abu Dhabi
US President Donald Trump is considering deploying US troops to seize an oil terminal on Iran's Kharg Island, which processes some 90% of the country's crude exports, Axios has reported.
Trump believes the move could deal an "economic knockout" to the authorities in Tehran, an unnamed American official told the outlet, adding: "There are big risks. There are big rewards."
After the US struck Iranian military facilities on Kharg Island on Friday, Iranian authorities responded by promising to target US-linked oil infrastructure in the Persian Gulf in the event of further attacks.
